Ricky Odell Whitaker Jr., 31 of Yadkinville, NC, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Winston Salem, NC.

Mr. Whitaker was born September 1, 1992 in Yadkin County to Ricky Odell Whitaker and Mechelle Caroline Harrison.

Ricky attended Robert L Patton High School.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Melissa Ball and grandmother, Brenda Whitaker.

Survivors include his mother, Mechelle Harrison (Michael); father, Ricky Whitaker; son, Isaiah Whitaker; two brothers, Raymond Whitaker, Corey Treglia; three sisters, Alexandra Ball, Kaitlyn Concepcion, Mariesa Smith; grandparents, Douglas Ball, Colleen Ball, Richard Whitaker; aunts, Melinda Smith, Susan Strickland, Patricia Stanley; an uncle, Terry Whitaker; a nephew, Ivan; and three nieces, Zyndaya, Violet, and Willow.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
